About Debra Curtis

     Debra Curtis is an award-winning professional photographer and artist with over thirty years of experience based in Manakin-Sabot, VA. She holds a Master of Education degree in Audio-Visual Education from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from Radford University.

     She taught studio lighting, wildlife photography, and large format photography on the community college level along with Photoshop, digital photography, and watercolor painting. Debra is a member of the Professional Photographers of America. She also worked as a medical photographer on staff for a major hospital in Virginia. Her past experience also includes working for two of the top portrait studios in the state.

     She recently attended and completed course work at the exclusive East Coast School Photographic Workshops, which is an affiliate school of the Professional Photographers of America. She is currently operating her own photography and fine art illustration business.
